Digital Service - No Physical Shipping

UptimeCall is a 100% digital Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product. We do not ship any physical products, and therefore, traditional shipping policies do not apply.

Upon successful account registration and payment (for paid plans), you receive immediate access to our monitoring service. No waiting for delivery—start monitoring your websites instantly.

1. Service Delivery

1.1 Instant Activation

All UptimeCall services are delivered digitally and are available immediately:

  • Free Plan: Instant access upon email verification
  • Pro Plan: Activated immediately after successful payment
  • No Downloads: Access via web browser (no software installation required)
  • No Shipping Address: We do not require or collect shipping addresses

1.2 Access Method

You can access UptimeCall through:

  • Web Dashboard: Log in at uptimecall.com using any modern web browser
  • Mobile Browser: Fully responsive mobile interface (no app download needed)
  • API Access: Available for Pro users via API keys generated in your dashboard

1.3 Geographic Availability

UptimeCall is available globally. As a cloud-based service, you can access your account from anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

2. Service Upgrades and Downgrades

2.1 Upgrade to Paid Plan

  • Instant Upgrade: Changes take effect immediately upon payment
  • Pro-rated Billing: You are charged for the remainder of the current billing cycle
  • Feature Access: All Pro features become available instantly

2.2 Downgrade to Free Plan

  • End of Billing Period: Downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle
  • No Partial Refunds: You retain Pro access until the paid period ends
  • Data Retention: Your monitor data remains intact

3. Account Access and Credentials

3.1 Email Delivery

Important account information is delivered via email to your registered email address:

  • Email verification link (required for account activation)
  • Password reset instructions
  • Billing receipts and invoices
  • Service notifications and updates

3.2 Email Delivery Times

  • Instant: Most emails arrive within seconds
  • Delayed: In rare cases, email delivery may take up to 15 minutes
  • Spam Folder: Check your spam/junk folder if emails don't arrive

3.3 Email Delivery Issues

If you don't receive important emails:

  1. Check your spam/junk folder
  2. Add hello@uptimecall.com to your email contacts/whitelist
  3. Verify your email address in account settings
  4. Contact support at hello@uptimecall.com for assistance

4. Phone and SMS Alerts

4.1 Alert Delivery

UptimeCall delivers incident alerts via phone calls and SMS messages to the phone numbers you configure in your account:

  • Phone Calls: Delivered via voice network (Twilio, Telnyx, or 46elks)
  • SMS Messages: Delivered via SMS network
  • Delivery Time: Typically within seconds of incident detection

4.2 Delivery Reliability

While we strive for 100% alert delivery, factors beyond our control may affect delivery:

  • Phone turned off or out of service
  • Network congestion or outages
  • Phone number blocked or invalid
  • Carrier-specific restrictions

4.3 International Delivery

Phone calls and SMS alerts can be delivered to most countries worldwide. Delivery times and reliability may vary based on the destination country and carrier network.

5. Data Delivery and Export

5.1 Data Export

You can export your monitoring data at any time:

  • CSV Export: Download monitor check history
  • JSON Export: Export via API (Pro users)
  • Instant Download: Files generated and downloaded immediately

5.2 Account Deletion Data

If you delete your account and request your data:

  • We will provide your data within 30 days
  • Data will be delivered via secure email link or downloadable archive
  • After data delivery, your account will be permanently deleted

6. Third-Party Integrations

6.1 Webhook Delivery

Pro users can configure webhooks to receive incident notifications at their own endpoints:

  • Instant Delivery: Webhooks sent immediately when incidents occur
  • Retry Logic: Failed webhooks are retried up to 3 times
  • No Guarantee: We cannot guarantee delivery if your endpoint is unreachable

6.2 API Access

API access is available instantly for Pro users via API keys generated in your dashboard.

7. Service Interruptions

7.1 Maintenance Windows

Scheduled maintenance may temporarily interrupt service delivery:

  • We provide advance notice via email (minimum 24 hours)
  • Maintenance is typically performed during low-usage hours
  • Duration is usually less than 1 hour

7.2 Unplanned Outages

In case of unplanned service interruptions:

  • We work to restore service as quickly as possible
  • Status updates are posted on our status page
  • Affected users may be eligible for service credits (see Refund Policy)
